COMMUNITY CHALLENGES
The Manitou Incline is more than just a hike—it's a powerful metaphor for the steep climbs we face in our minds. We are challenging men, allies, and the community to take on this iconic ascent to raise awareness and vital funds for men's mental health resources.
How to Participate
- Take the Challenge: Commit to completing the Incline and/or matching a fundraising goal for every one of the (2,768) steps.
- Book Your Spot: A free reservation is required to hike the Incline. Secure your permit via the City of Colorado Springs portal.
- Bring the Essentials: Pack plenty of water, wear proper footwear, and prepare for rapid weather changes.
- Hike Down Safely: Always descend via the neighboring Barr Trail to protect your knees.
- Find Community: Connect with local groups like Brotherly, F3, FTGF, TEAM RWB, and Wild at Heart to find free local peer support and educational resources.
- Professional Care: If you or a man you know needs professional guidance use the Brotherly Mental Health Network to find men's clinical support groups and therapists in the Colorado Springs & Denver areas.
