CHALLENGES WE AIM TO IMPACT
FIGHTING MALE LONELINESS
- The percentage of men with six or more close friends has dropped from 55% in 1990 to just 27% today.
- The rate of men without 1 close friend has increased fivefold, from 3% to 15%.
- Loneliness is a public health crisis; men are nearly four times more likely to die by suicide than women.
BREAKING GENERATIONAL CURSES
-
Emotional dysfunction: Difficulty regulating emotions, such as extreme anger.
- Substance abuse: Addiction to alcohol, drugs, or pornography.
- Absent fatherhood: Patterns of emotional or physical abandonment.
- Mental health: Conditions like untreated depression, anxiety, or PTSD.                    Â
COMBATTING MALE SUICIDE CRISIS
-
We lose over 100 men (108 per day) to death by suicide in the U.S.
- We lose more than 1,450 worldwide each day.
- That means every 60 seconds, someone loses a son, brother, father or friend to death by suicide.
