John Blalock, Intern Therapist
Basic Information
I believe therapy is a shared journey between equals: You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk beside you — offering a warm, inviting space (and a bit of humor) — to help us find the best way forward. While I lean toward evidence-based tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I hold the view that some of the most important work occurs through genuine connection and being heard. My approach is grounded in warmth, authenticity, and collaboration.
